Halloweentime wasn’t always costumes and spooky decor, as we know it to be today. It has a sacred layer to its foundation - the ancient Celtic observance of Samhain.
It has been said that, during this time, the veil between our world and that of the departed was at its thinnest - and that the deceased would come to Earth.
For some, this may be a welcome idea - we love our ancestors, and wish to visit with them. For others, the burdens left behind by their relations with the dead haunt them - wounds that can impede their health, relationships, and embodiment in life long after the other person is gone. And others, the challenges of their ancestors may be found to continue playing out through them - a record always playing, and a tune notably out of sync.
In this shamanic healing circle, we will gather in the betwixt and between to heal inherited ancestral burdens - offering healing across generations.
Here, you will be led in a guided shamanic drum journey to gain insight into what challenges of your ancestors you may be carrying - and connect with special bonfires to help heal these.
This circle is open to everyone - no prior experience in shamanic practice is necessary. It is part of a monthly series of healing circles, dedicated to exploring a new restorative theme each month.
This circle is held in a live online sacred gathering where you will be able to share support, love, and journey insights with the open-hearted and like-minded persons coming together to heal. Even simply being in a circle of love itself can be quite healing.
Just because someone has departed this world, doesn’t mean that their beautiful blessings - and messes - are automatically erased. As we gather to address inherited challenges of the past, we can step into greater sovereignty, vitality, and fiery well-being in the now.
