Becoming a Powerful Medium for Guidance and Healing

Maybe you have been told that you are a medium or have a shamanic destiny. Maybe you have felt a draw to shamanism or psychic work broadly but didn’t know where, or how, to begin. Maybe shamanic work has helped and healed you - and you want to give that back to others.
Shamanism need not be a “rainy-day hobby.” As a living, breathing practice, it can take you to the depths of your own soul, provide incredible tools for healing and guiding others, and open the door to spirit connections that serve to empower you and others for a lifetime.
Imagine the power of studying methods to do just this in a safe container - one in which you receive individual attention and feedback, ethical boundaries to guide you, and an intimate focus on your interests and passions that prepare you to walk a shamanic path towards helping and healing.
This apprenticeship is that container.
In this sacred offering, you can choose to be personally mentored through:
a robust program of shamanic trainings, in which I walk with you from the moment of your very first soul journey (or wherever you are on your path) to the final rattle-shake that opens the door to begin a professional shamanic divination and healing practice.
OR
standalone modules of that training program - such as those on advanced divination or healing through soul retrieval - that align with your individual calling.
Personal apprenticeship in one or more of these rich trainings provides you with a deeply personal education in shamanic arts - centering cross-cultural anthropological knowledge, adapted for the modern Western practitioner, and held in a relationship of safety and heart between teacher, student, and the compassionate spirits who truly guide this work.
Upon completion, you will be equipped with an ethical framework, methodological knowledge, and spiritual relationships that can open the door for you to serve your community with Spirit by your side.
THE PATH
This apprenticeship offers seven modules of training and initiation
Shamanic Medicine for Personal & Planetary Healing: Walking in Light in Everyday Life
Before we learn to really fly (in the literal spiritual sense), we must learn to walk - in harmony, and in light.
This module illuminates how to cultivate your thoughts, emotions, and words to support your well-being and the creation of the world that you wish to see manifested, ways of connecting deeply with nature for personal and collective restoration, and the transfiguration healing practice - an ineffable experience of embodying divinity to ignite healing for yourself, others, and all of life.
If you haven’t already learned shamanic journeying - or even if you have - this is the ideal place to start your shamanic path. However, this class is not currently a necessary prerequisite for advanced training.
Initiation into Shamanic Journeying: Accessing Guidance, Healing, & Spiritual Freedom
A hallmark skill of the shaman - now available to you.
Here, will be introduced to the ancient and cross-cultural practice of shamanic journeying, including how to shift consciousness through sound - without hallucinogens - to embark on a “soul flight” to the spiritual realms, interact with your own personal helping and healing spirits, and begin to serve as a medium for messages and insights for others in shamanic divination. The knowledge and connections built here carry you through your shamanic practice - and can carry you, too, through your life.
This introductory module - the prerequisite to all the below advanced trainings - can be fulfilled by attending the July or September public online Initiation into Shamanic Journeying workshops, or through this private instruction.
Advanced Divination
Shamanic Extraction Healing
Removing what doesn’t belong.
The energy of toxic thoughts and emotions can do damage beyond the physical level - they can be connected with localized pain and illness, emotional imbalance, and even collective disruption. In this module, you will discover not only a cross-cultural overview of how shamans can approach illness (such as soul loss, power loss, spirit attachment, and beyond), but also ways to safely diagnose and extract energies of spiritual intrusion - and how to help clients keep their healing going after the ceremony is finished.
Developing further skills for channeling messages from the beyond.
Divination is, in its own way, a healing methodology - as mediums, we have the opportunity to pass along comforting, curative, illuminating, and inspiring messages from the Other World. In this module, you will refine your ability to serve as a channel for accurate and actionable divine guidance - for yourself, and for others. You will discover how to do “embodied” psychic readings, ethically deliver information about “the hard stuff” - such as terminal illness, divorce, and abuse - and facilitate connection specifically between clients and departed loved ones for closure, connection, and healing.
Shamanic Soul Retrieval Healing
Restoring what trauma took.
Physical or emotional abuse, accidents, warfare, loss of a job or loved one, divorce, even imbalanced relationships - these and more can drain our soul energy. This soul loss can leave us fatigued, unmotivated, depressed, dissociated, or with any number of health and relationship challenges. The cure? The retrieval of that lost soul energy, and the brilliant wholeness and gifts that it had taken with it. Here, you will discover the careful application of shamanic soul retrieval healing. Additional methods to be covered include the releasing of stolen soul, body part soul retrieval, and soul remembering, along with a focus on helping clients to live healthier, more passion-filled lives now that they are “home again.”
Shamanism and Life After Life: Healing Initiations in Death, Dying, & Beyond
Healing for the dying, the haunting deceased, and you.
Death will come for each one of us. Whether each one of us is prepared for it, is another matter. In this penultimate module, you will discover the shaman’s work as psychopomp - helping the dying to have a smoother transition into the afterlife, and safely “conducting” haunting souls who got stuck here into the Beyond - along with healing your own connections with death, and thus, with life. A brief exploration of spirit release, or depossession healing, will also be undertaken. “Deathwalking” isn’t just something that informs your healing practice - it’s something that informs the way you live.
This module can be fulfilled by attending October public online Shamanism and Life After Life workshop, or through this private instruction.
Shamanic Practicum: Navigating the Physical Dimensions of Spiritual Practice
Being a practitioner isn’t only about healing.
Shamans don’t only operate in the non-physical; there are physical dimensions to their practices, as well - dimensions not necessarily talked about in other training programs. In this final module, you will step deeper into practical elements of professional shamanic practice, including legal issues*, structuring service pricing, setting professional boundaries, client intake and screening, designing a safe environment for client and practitioner, how to talk about your work with others, resources for online and in-person offerings, and beyond. Closing our time together will be your graduation ceremony - and rich sacred work sometimes only taught to the most advanced students of Western shamanism.

Taking this collection of practitioner modules - or solely the ones that call to you - is for you if you are:

desiring personalized, individual attention on you as the only student - your needs, questions, challenges. and passions,
looking for training that incorporates self-healing initiations alongside learning to help and heal others,
seeking a teacher who will challenge you to approach things differently and embody the high ethical standard that clients deserve,
wanting to integrate shamanic practice into your everyday and professional lives, such as in your practice of psychotherapy, bodywork, hospice or chaplaincy, or other healing professions,
already practicing but wish to revisit, review, deepen, and expand your shamanism.
No prior experience is necessary to begin the program. Once Initiation into Shamanic Journeying (or a close equivalent) is completed, your path to the remaining course of powerful initiations and methodologies unfolds.
Logistics

Private 1:1 training, or to a small cohort (3-5 persons).

An audio- and video-enabled device to attend the training on (for quality purposes, cameras must remain on during course sessions), and a comfortable and quiet place to attend from in which you are unlikely to be disturbed.
Specific optional items related to each workshop will be shared in that workshop’s welcome letter upon registration.

Whenever fits your schedule.
Whether you are taking a standalone workshop, or the full gamut of training, workshop sessions are held on days and times that fit your timetable.
Workshops range from approximately 4.5 hours (Initiation into Shamanic Journeying), to 18 hours (Soul Retrieval), with an average of 7 hours (every other workshop) of core content - content that is fundamental to the program and does not include extra content that you may specifically request be added.
Example schedule formats (for a 7-hour workshop) include two 2.5-hour sessions and one 2-hour session, or 10am-6pm local time on one day.

Tuition is set per module, allowing you to progress at a pace that fits your life and budget.
The tuition for each workshop is as follows:
Shamanic Medicine for Personal & Planetary Healing: Walking in Light in Everyday Life | $550 for 1:1 instruction; $400 per person for small cohort (3-5 persons).
Initiation into Shamanic Journeying: Accessing Guidance, Healing, & Spiritual Freedom | $350 for 1:1 instruction; $250 per person for cohort (3-5 persons).
Shamanic Extraction Healing | $550 for 1:1 instruction; $400 per person for cohort (3-5 persons).
Advanced Divination | $550 for 1:1 instruction; $400 per person for cohort (3-5 persons).
Shamanic Soul Retrieval Healing | $1,400 for 1:1 instruction; $900 per person for cohort (3-5 persons).

If one wishes to add additional content onto the core content outlined in a given workshop, each additional hour is priced at $85.

WHAT MAKES this DIFFERENT
These are not mass-marketed online courses. They are not pre-recorded lectures preventing you from asking questions. They are not experiences where you are lost in a 100-person group.
This is direct shamanic apprenticeship. The focus is on you as an individual, or your selected small cohort. Your questions are addressed. Your schedule guides our pacing. Your growing edges are polished. Your needs and passions are invited to be embodied in the curriculum and your learning. You are the focus.
You will study with a teacher who has gone far in his own studies; who has been praised for his concise way of summarizing seemingly-complex information and appreciates teaching shamanic ways in a clear step-by-step fashion; who focuses on the rich anthropological knowledge that supports this work, and keeps healthy skepticism about unfounded “shamanic” claims; and who isn’t afraid to shine a light on the “darker issues” that already have a thread in your practice, such as ego work, abuse in shamanic practice, concerns about cultural appropriation, matters of politics and social justice, navigating financial aspects of divine work, and beyond.
And the compassionate spirits with whom you partner in shamanic work are present in each and every session, because they are not simple accessories to shamanic practice - they are your true healers, advisors, and highest teachers. After all, the ultimate goal of any shamanic training with me is the same: to give you the tools for ethically and effectively working with these spirits - becoming their apprentice - to bring their help and healing to bear on the countless challenges facing our modern-day world.
