Haunted:

Exploring the Nature, Origin, and Healing of Hauntings

October 20, 2023
From the Comfort of Home (Zoom)

Hauntings seize the senses. Ghost tours, paranormal investigations, and hair-raising campfire stories weave frightening tales about wandering souls who roam the land or trouble a family home, stimulating our curiosity and fear.

But what do we truly know about hauntings? Who, or what, are the ones who haunt? How do hauntings happen? And how can they be tended to in ways that heal the living, and the dead?

In this illuminative evening - led by a trained teacher of shamanic material on hauntings and a social and cultural historian who wrote his doctoral dissertation on the poltergeist - you will begin to explore the important topic of hauntings.

Together, we will learn:

- Why approaching the matter of hauntings with respect and discipline is paramount,

- Different perspectives - shamanic, historical, and cultural - on what hauntings are, how they originate, and what it is that haunts,

- Shamanic and historical ways that hauntings can be addressed,

- And so much more.

In addition, there will be time for rich Q&A with your teachers - myself (Garrett) and Dr. Christopher Laursen - as well as a guided healing ceremony - one that invites in a special kind of personal helping spirit.

No prior experience is necessary for attendance; this class is open to all. Join us as we expand our minds (and hearts) and bring healing light into some of the dark shadows of the haunting phenomena.
